Congratulations to Michelle L. (Red Cloud, age 15) for being selected as part of the highly regarded juried exhibition featuring outstanding high school artists from across Santa Clara County in the NUMU ArtNow Exhibition. The theme this year was “Before, Between, Beyond” and she was selected from over 600+ entries to take part of the show.
The show can be viewed between March 27th, 2026 - July 19th, 2026 amongst other outstanding high schoolers.

Michelle’s description about her artwork: Michelle’s piece explores grief and memory through the lens of personal loss. Representing both “before” and “after” a traumatic event, her work reflects emotional transformation and remembrance.
Inspired by her late uncle, Michelle experimented with white charcoal techniques and found particular joy in rendering chrysanthemums, symbolizing honor and remembrance.
