Congratulations to Patrick Z. (Age 15, Red Cloud) for winning 1st place for California state PTA for his piece “Figure of Speech”!
Patrick and his family attended a ceremony and gave a speech in front of thousands of attendees in Monterey, CA.
In Patricks’s words: “My piece A Figure of Speech shows an anonymousfigure voicing their opinions in what appears to be a lecture. I chose the subject of a speaker for this year's PTA reflections in order to represent the everyday heroism of voicing your thoughts and viewpoints to share and influence.” So proud of Patrick!
