Not only did we learn about drawing, but we learned how to consider the background, emotions, and actions of a character in developing their visual design. On top of that, we travelled to San Francisco to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum to learn more about one of the great masters in character design and all of his great stories - Walt Disney!

After the character designs, dialog, storyline, and artwork are completed, Hongyun Art works with a publisher to put the books into print! Read MoreCongratulations to our Red Cloud students! This year's Maker Faire was even better than the last! We operated our booth quite smoothly and earned over $3500 for the Hongyun Art Foundation! This is a 71% earnings growth over last year's event proceeds! WOW!
Not only that, we won two Maker Faire awards!! The first is the "Best in Class" award for the dark room (where we were located in the event). The second is the Editor's Choice award which gives us a chance of being featured in Make Magazine - the leading international publication for the Maker Movement. CONGRATS TEAM!!
