We had a lot of fun checking out Google's Self-Driving Car prototype - we took 10 of our top students to see the car and learn more about it before the upcoming art competition to decorate the car and make it even more cool to look at!

Not only that, we won two Maker Faire awards!! The first is the "Best in Class" award for the dark room (where we were located in the event). The second is the Editor's Choice award which gives us a chance of being featured in Make Magazine - the leading international publication for the Maker Movement. CONGRATS TEAM!!

Teamwork is a core Hongyun Art value - as is FUN! To have fun and to practice our teamwork skills, we created our 1st every Paintlympics! Our Red Cloud (top level) students joined forces with our teachers to create new murals for our school walls and classrooms!
The event took place over the Thanksgiving holiday. In the end, our teams battled till the very end with the winning team winning some awesome prizes - an iPad Mini for the teachers and a Wacom Intuos touch drawing tablet for the Red Cloud students!

This event celebrates the cultures of the world with dance and musical performances as well as bring all sorts of interesting items to buy under one (really BIG) roof!
The event hall was packed with attendees and the Party Team did a great job helping the guests at the event get into a festive and fun mood!

We LOVE our local Cupertino Schools so much that we donate our equipment, time, materials, and energy to school events for free! The Hongyun Art Party Team loves to support their outstanding schools by ensuring that attendees at school events have awesome facepaint to make the atmosphere even more fun and festive!
We feel that by helping our schools for free, our Party Team members learn about citizenship and supporting one of our most valuable institutions! Thank you Regnart Elementary and Meyerholz Elementary for inviting us!

What a wonderful (and BIG) event! The Hongyun Art Party Team joined the Silicon Valley Fall Festival with a double sized booth dedicated to face painting, glitter tattoos, and of course, FUN!
The event on the last day of the summer not invited thousands of guests from around Cupertino and the Silicon Valley, but also invited the fall's first huge rainstorm! The big rainstorm didn't affect the Party Team as the team members welcomed guests out of the rain and into the FUN! Other event booths gave up after some time, but the Party Team stayed and welcomed a nonstop stream of guests throughout the entire event!!

On a bright and sunny day in September, the Hongyun Art Party Team helped make the UCSF-Stanford Cochlear Center's annual picnic even more bright and sunny!
Our Party Team members had a great time creating wondrful facepaint & glitter tattoos for the staff and patients of the center! It was a great early fall event!
Afterwards, we had time for some ice cream and even a little time to play with Mindy, our super fun Corgi mascot!

Hongyun Art partnered with Cupertino City for one its largest events of the year! Thousands of people from Cupertino and surrounding cities attended this year's event!
Hongyun Art students proposed, designed, and executed the city's largest ever chalk mural at Cupertino Civic Plaza on the day of the festival! Almost every square inch of the plaza between Cupertino City Hall and Cupertino Library was covered in chalk!
The Hongyun Art Party Team was also adding to the festive air by making sure everyone was covered in face paint, glitter tattoos, and stickers!

Yahoo! Internet company approached Hongyun Art to help make their New Year's Party a smashing success! Over 3000 Yahoo! employees and family members attended the event.

Hongyun Art is known for BIG events and our 2012 Fall art show hosted by Vallco Mall and AMC Theaters was are largest art show yet!
An estimated 4000 attendees enjoyed over 1000 works of art created by Hongyun Art students age 4 and up! All most every inch of Vallco's lower atrium near AMC theaters was covered with our student's artwork!
We also showed our first ever Hongyun Art movie in an actual AMC Movie Theater! Thousands of students, family, and friends watched our super fun and super funny movie!
Attendees also enjoyed great activities hosted by the Hongyun Art Party Team, Hongyun Art TAs, and Hongyun Art Teachers! Everyone had a super fun time at Vallco Mall & AMC Theaters!

In 2012, Whole Foods was undergoing major renovations in-store and invited Hongyun Art's students to come help decorate the temporary walls and make the store more festive! Our students created two giant murals that transformed the store into a fruit and vegetable holiday scene! Thanks again Whole Foods for letting Hongyun Art students help remake the store!
