August 4 - 8, 2014

This summer camp week was all about FOOD!!!  We also had a field trip to Boudin Sourdough Bread Company in San Francisco  where we learned about the history of San Francisco during the gold rush and Boudin's role throughout San Francisco history.  We also watched sourdough bread getting made, sampled LOTS of sourdough bread, and of course had a lunch of delicious food made with sourdough bread!   We concluded our week with a scavenger hunt and cooking class at Whole Foods Market!

July 28 - August 1, 2014

This summer camp week focused on learning about alternative energy and transportation!  We had a field trip to an electric bike shop where we learned about how electric bikes are a great way to get around!  We also visited a Tesla dealer and learned about electric cars!   We concluded our week with a scavenger hunt and cooking class at Whole Foods Market!

July 21 - 25, 2014

This summer camp week focused on learning to recycle and create new interesting art from found pieces!  We had a field trip to the San Francisco Zoo where we visited an art exhibit made entirely from garbage collected from the ocean!  We also got to visit and learn about all kinds of animals too!      We concluded our week with a scavenger hunt and cooking class at Whole Foods Market!
