让我们带你乘坐红云热气球从我们所在的城市加州Cupertino出发，去感知、探索美妙的世界！红云热气球是一扇窗，通过它，我们把美国学生的日常趣事、奇思妙想用文字、图画、视频等多种方式呈现给你，也把世界各地的信息、观点、文化传播开来。这里的作品将会来自红云艺术学校的学生、老师、家长，也可能来自其他第三方，但它们都将经过红云艺术学校的学生编辑小组选稿、编辑或者撰写。

你也许会说：写作和一所艺术学校有什么关系呢？其实，它们的关联可大呢。红云艺术学校是我们知识共享、团队合作、自我表达的平台，绘画是一个工具，写作又是另外一样工具。红云老师常说：“艺术不仅仅是漂亮图画！”希望你成为我们的微信好友后，有机会与我们一起练习中文、交流想法并结交更多志趣相投的朋友 -- 这些朋友在你身边、在网络四通八达的地方、在全球各个角落。当我们把我们的故事与你尽情分享时，也欢迎你把它们与朋友、家人分享，更欢迎你把自己的所见、所闻、所思与红云热气球的伙伴们一起分享。

We want to take you on a balloon ride to see the world from our home town in Cupertino California! We will be sharing short stories about our daily lives as a way to give our friends here and abroad a window into our lives here in America. We will also be disseminating news, views and cultures of the world. The stories will be from Hongyun students, teachers and parents, or they could be from other third parties. But all of them will be chosen, written, and edited by teams of Hongyun Art students.

What does writing have to do with an art school? Well, everything! Hongyun Art is where we learn to share, work together, and express ourselves (not just draw and paint!). As Hongyun likes to say, "Art is not just pretty pictures!" We hope you'll be our Weixin friend and share our stories with your friends so we can practice our Chinese and make new friends here and abroad! We also hope you will share what you see, you hear and you think with all of our little companions on the Hongyun Hot Air Balloon.
